Coaching Skills for Leaders

Do you want your organisation to be more engaged, motivated and productive?

Your managers and teams to be more resilient and solution-focused?

Create a Coaching Culture where managers add real coaching skills to how they lead, manage and develop others.

We advise organisations on how to successfully establish an effective Coaching Culture internally. Based on our experience working with managers and leaders across a range of organisations, we share strategies that have a range of benefits. For example:

  • More engaged, motivated and productive individuals and teams.
  • Better listening and thinking skills within teams so teamwork improves.
  • Empowered individuals who feel more committed and involved
  • Top performers using their full potential and exceeding targets
  • Under-performers becoming more productive and engaged.

Invigorate your organisation and tap into more potential – your team’s and your own – when you learn and use the skills that professionally trained Coaches use.

You enhance your Emotional Intelligence and your ability to lead, develop and tap into the creativity of others. How? By increasing the skills of:

  • Deep listening so you make better decisions
  • Understanding differences so you develop your team more effectively
  • Ability to be unattached and supportive (and gain much more buy-in)
  • Variations of tone and language for different effect
  • Increased self-awareness so you build better relationships
  • How to attune and match your communicative style to other preferences of others.

No thanks! I just want to speak to Alison

Coaching works better than just a conversation. It made me feel better (about the situation) and find a solution. Working within a framework helped me find answers that were probably there anyway but I couldn’t see them. I liked the structure, the professional set-up, that you were an outsider, and that I was not being judged.

DL, Headteacher, England

I rate this course (on coaching skills for managers and business owners) very highly; the way Alison presented the different topics was excellent, and I appreciated the fact that she actively encouraged us to speak up to clarify any questions we had. Also, I could directly relate the tools we practised to different situations arising in the workplace, and this was particularly valuable.

Julia Carroll, Communication Consultant and Trainer, Switzerland

At the start of the course as I told you I had poor listening skills. I listened to the first few sentences then would immediately start thinking of what they need to do. I’ve become much more focused on the speaker, letting that help me know how best to respond. I’ve gained confidence that by listening, I’ll be able to respond appropriately. It’s changed my management style with staff in my department about work or personal things, work-life balance. Results I’ve noticed – most people think their way through things; they are more able to deal with things independently and come to me with an idea to talk through instead of a problem they want me to solve.

Mark Bedford, Senior Manager, England

Very keen and enthusiastic participants with excellent energy from the workshop speaker/leader made for a productive learning session on coaching.
