Try the Valentine Mini-Quiz before it’s too late!

March 10, 2014 By Alison Haill

valentine

Is your Valentine mean or generous on Valentine’s Day? Or is s/he just a different DISC style to you? Read on to recognise yourself – and become a bit more romantic in time for 14 February!

If you aren’t familiar with DISC, click here

Question 1

What DISC personality style is MOST likely to be in the doghouse the day after Valentine’s Day because they completely forgot?

Answer

D -68%
I – 20%
S – 4%
C – 8%

Question 2

What personality style is likely to be the MOST romantic… going out of their way on Valentine’s Day?

Answer

D – 4%
I – 48%
S – 48%
C – 0%

Comments

I-style  “Thinks with the heart”

S-style “Feeling like being romantic often goes with being loyal, stable, and committed.”

“S-style is empathetic, likes harmony, creates a pleasant atmosphere.”

D-style “Unless it’s on their task list, it’s not likely to be a priority and will subsequently be forgotten … unless they have an admin to remind them.”

I-style “Too busy having fun and socialising.” Or “They forgot to put it on their calendars – actually, they have lost their calendar.”

Sometimes it is difficult to recognize when love and affection are being shown to you by others, mainly when their style of showing and receiving love is different from your own.

A D-Style may launch into action, solving problems and spending their time working hard to provide for their loved ones.  However, if their S-Style partner is longing for quality time, they may feel neglected as a result. By understanding how both you and your partner show and receive love, you can begin to recognize gestures of love that you had never noticed before.

The quiz was sent to me by our partners at People Keys.
